Julia A. Wandrei 1928 - 2011 BENNINGTON, VT Julia A. Wandrei, age 83, a resident of Vt. Rte 67W in Shaftsbury, died on Sunday evening, Oct. 16, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. Mrs. Wandrei was born in Moroni, Utah, on June 17, 1928, and was the daughter of Leonard Jacob and Urva Marjorie (Gee) Anderson. She received her education in Moroni. She married John Wandrei on April 10, 1961, in Salt Lake City. Mr. Wandrei survives. The Wandreis moved East to Vermont in 2000. Mrs. Wandrei has been a very active member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Days Saints, including playing the organ. Survivors besides her husband include one son, Leonard J. Wandrei and his wife Mary DeBell of Bennington, and her daughter Cathy Lee Fachini of Sanford, FL. She has three grandchildren and one brother, Leonard Joseph Anderson of Salt Lake City, UT. Mrs. Wandrei was predeceased by two sisters, Edith Anderson Ward and Lorna Holfeltz. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will be held on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 20, at 1 p.m. at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints on Houghton Lane in Bennington. Interment will follow in the family lot in Center Shaftsbury Cemetery. Friends may call at the MAHAR AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 628 Main St. Bennington on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m .
