June Alspaugh 1960-2012 EAST DORSET June Alspaugh, a resident of Dorset Hill Road, in East Dorset, passed away Tuesday February 7, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. June was born in Hamden, Conn. on May 25, 1960 the daughter of Anthony Fonda and Virginia Marciano. After moving to Vermont at an early age, June received her education in Dorset schools, graduated from Burr & Burton and attended Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Conn. June, along with her husband Mark own and operate J & J. Dry Cleaners in Manchester. June enjoyed photography, traveling, cruises, the beach, spring flowers and shopping. She loved camping and was an avid New York Giants football fan. She also loved listening to music, especially the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and the 70's. She was a very devoted mother and cherished times spent with her family. June is survived by her husband, Mark Alspaugh, of East Dorset to whom she married on January 21, 1984 in Lee, Mass.; her children, Brian Alspaugh and his wife Kjestine of Cambridge, N.Y., and David Alspaugh of East Dorset; her step-children, Sherry Emlet and her husband, Scott, of Elizabethtown, Pa., Daniel of Elizabethtown, Pa. and Deborah Alspaugh and her husband, Mario Carluccio, of Rochester, N.Y.; her sister, Susan Boutard, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, step-siblings and step-grandchildren. Funeral services for June will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 12 noon at BREWSTER FUNERAL SERVICE, 34 Park Place Manchester Center, Vt. Interment will be in the spring in South Village Cemetery in East Dorset. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 11 to 12 noon, one hour prior to the service.
