Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Keith A. Trottier, 47, a resident of Lincoln Street, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, following a long illness.

Born in North Adams, Mass., on Oct. 20, 1958, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Lucille (Mayotte) Trottier. He received his education in the Hoosick Falls, N.Y., schools.

Keith married the former Margaret Brown on Aug. 5, 2001, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Bennington.

For the past ten years Keith owned and operated Budget Man Contractors in Bennington. He loved music and playing his guitar. Keith will be remembered as a very giving person with a big heart who could always make you laugh.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Trottier of Bennington; five daughters, April Stevens, Venece Babson, Carrie Russell, Keili Trottier and Stephanie Trottier; two sons, Bernie Grover and Travis Grover; three sons-in-law, John Babson, Wayne Russell and Ben Arcolano; five grandchildren, Michael, Wayne, John, Colby and Keegan, all of Bennington; a sister, Deborah Carknard of Hoosick Falls; three brothers, John W. and Ronald J. Trottier of Hoosick Falls and Jeffrey O. Trottier of Bennington; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Marion Brown of Hoosick Falls; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Smith of Hoosick Falls and Stacia Coon of Cambridge; his brothers-in-law, Walter Brown of Florida, Henry Brown and William “Boo Boo” Brown, both of Bennington, and Raymond Coon of Cambridge, N.Y. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Ada Reynolds, and a brother-in-law Arthur Smith.

Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, from 4 to 6 p.m. The funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Anita Schell-Lambert, rector of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
