Obituary Condolences

SHAFTSBURY -- Keith C. Lesser, 47, a resident of Town Line Road West in Shaftsbury, died on Saturday, March 26, 2005 unexpectedly.

He was born in Trenton, N.J. on June 10, 1958, and was the son of the late Douglas and Condon (Robertson) Lesser. He received his education in Glasboro (N.J.) schools. He served with the Army in Heidelberg, Germany, and had been a member of the Pershing missile team. He moved to Vermont in 1980.

He married Jeanette on May 14, 1985 in Bennington. Mrs. Lesser survives. Mr. Lesser was a member of the First Congregational Church in Old Bennington.

Over the years he has been employed by Ace Hardwood in Hoosick Falls, N.Y., CB Sports, Mace, and most recently, Grimm Building Supply in New York, where he was a sales representative. He was a great outdoorsman, and enjoyed skiing, hiking, camping and searching for artifacts.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Kyle Lesser, and his daughter Brandy, both of Shaftsbury. He leaves his brother and sister-in-law Douglas and Debbie Lesser of Half Moon Bay, Calif. He also is survived by nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday morning, at the White Chapel on East Road in Bennington at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John Eusden officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in the White Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials in his honor may be made to the support of his children through Jeanette Lesser in care of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St., Bennington, VT 05201.
