Obituary Condolences

EAST ARLINGTON -- The service of remembrance for Mr. Kenneth H. Hunt was held at the Federated Church of East Arlington on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003. Officiating was the Rev. Thomas Truscott interim pastor who spoke of Mr. Hunt as a hard working family man and a real Vermonter with the soul of a poet, he touched upon his involvement with youth, in particular his support of Arlington Memorial High School ladies sports and his willingness to always reach out to help others.

Organist Douglas Bischoff accompanied the congregation in singing “Morning Has Broken” and “Amazing Grace,” the postlude was “Everlasting Life” by Alessandro Alessandrini. A time of fellowship and refreshment followed in the church’s Bailey hall , hosted by the Sunshine Committee of the church.

Among the many friends and relatives attending the service were representatives from Southwestern Vermont Health Care and Arlington Memorial High School .

Mr. Hunt, 74, a resident of Kansas Road in Sunderland died Sunday morning, Dec. 21, 2003 at The Centers For Living and Rehabilitation where he had resided for a short time.

Arrangements were under the care of the Arlington Chapel of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, Route 7A, Arlington.
