Kenneth L. Percey 1932 - 2012 RICHMOND, VA Kenneth Leon Percey, 79, a resident of Richmond, passed away Feb. 28, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his family. Ken was born in Bennington, VT on July 14, 1932, son of Leon and Angela (Henderson) Percey. He graduated from Bentley College in Boston in 1952 with an associate's degree in Accounting. He then enlisted in the Army in 1952 and served for two years during the Korean conflict. On his return, he attended Suffolk University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. During Ken's career, he worked for numerous companies in both Accounting and Sales. His last position was as Treasurer of IBW in Pennsylvania, where he started in 1971 and worked for 17 years before retiring to establish his own consulting business. He enjoyed golf, bowling, dancing, chess and card games. But most important to him was being a devoted, patient and loving husband and father. Ken's first priority was always his family, and he cherished times spent with his children and grandchildren. Ken is survived by his wife, the former Ellen Pease, originally of Norwalk, CT, whom he married in 1958, his four children, Jennifer Struble and her husband Andrew of Macungie, PA, Debbie Mounts and her husband Bill of Andover, MA, Andrew Percey and his wife Michiyo of Boston, MA, Jeff Percey and his wife Deborah, of Richmond, his brother Robert Percey and his wife Dottie of Putney, VT, 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Ken will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at HANSON-WALBRIDGE FUNERAL HOME, 213 West Main Street, Bennington, VT. Interment will follow in the family plot in Hinsdillville Cemetery in Bennington, VT.
