JUPITER, Fla. -- Kenneth John “Butch” Wilkins, 62, of Jupiter, Fla., passed away on Friday, Nov., 10, 2006. He was born in Hartford, Conn., beloved son of Helene Agnes (West) Wilkins and the late Kenneth James Wilkins. He resided in Manchester, Vt., before moving to the Palm Beaches in 1986.

Butch was an automotive technician by trade and thoroughly enjoyed working on cars, even in his spare time. Butch was a loving and caring father and grandfather.

He was a friend to all who knew him. He was a thoughtful and considerate man who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Recently, he was devastated by the untimely death of his devoted Springer Spaniel, Bella. In addition to his mother, Helene Wilkins, of Manchester, Vt., Kenny is survived by four loving children: Robert John (wife Annemarie) Wilkins of Dover, NH., Victoria Lee (husband Paul) Conley of Saint Charles, Mo., Cynthia Lynn (husband Howard) Cohen of New Port Richey, Fla., and Andrew Scott (wife Michelle) Wilkins of Jupiter, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Janice Helene (husband William) Coolidge of Rutland, Vt; and one nephew and one niece.

A memorial service of celebration and thanksgiving for the life of Kenneth John Wilkins will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25, at the First Baptist Church 4895 Main St. Manchester Center, VT 05255.
