Obituary Condolences

MANCHESTER -- The First Congregational Church of Manchester was filled Monday afternoon, June 12, 2006, for a funeral service to celebrate the life of Kimberly A. Frost. The Rev. Margaret Dawedeit conducted the service.

Music was under the direction of organist Linda Hueckel, who led the congregation in the singing of the hymn “Amazing Grace.” The Rev. Dawedeit offered scripture readings and read Kim’s favorite poem, “The Road Less Traveled,” written by Robert Frost.

A time of reflection and words of remembrance were given by many of Kim’s friends and family, and a special tribute was offered by Kim’s graduating class from Burr and Burton, class of 1977. The congregation listened to special music, which included “Leaving On A Jet Plane” by Jewel and “Only The Good Die Young” by Billy Joel.

Committal services followed in Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland, where the Rev. Dawedeit offered burial rites and committal prayers. A time of fellowship, and refreshments followed at the Harned-Fowler VFW Post 6471 in Manchester.

The family requests that donations be made to the Equinox Nursery so that memory gardens may be planted in memory of Kim.

Kimberly A. Frost, formerly of Manchester, Vt., died unexpectedly June 7, 2006, on Fire Island, N.Y.

Arrangements are under the care of Brewster Funeral Service, 34 Park Place.
