Obituary Condolences

MANCHESTER -- Lenore A. Heiland, 89, a resident of the Meadows in Manchester, died Jan. 21, 2005, peacefully in her home with family at her bedside. She was born in Passaic, N.J., May 19, 1915, the daughter of Paul and Anna (Klinger) Junold.

She was married to Rudolph Heiland in January 1936. The Heilands moved to Manchester and ran the Montgomery Ward Catalog Store in Manchester from 1967 to 1974. Lenore later assisted her daughter, Lorain, creating beautiful designs at Bonnet Streets Bouquets until 1979.

Three daughters survive her, Arlene Bell and her husband Alexander, of Cambridge, N.Y., Lorraine Senecal and her husband Chick of Manchester and Linda diMonda and her husband Michael of Sunderland; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
