Lillian Byrnes 1925-2008 HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. Lillian Rogers Byrnes 82, died March 13, at the University Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y. She resided on Dolan Avenue, with her husband Thomas Byrnes. Lillian was born on April 28, 1925 in Manhattan, N.Y. daughter of the late Patrick and Lillian Kennelly Rogers. She was educated at schools in N.Y. Lillian worked as an operator for AT&T in N.Y.C. for many years. She enjoyed bowling in her earlier years and doing crafts, making dolls and playing bingo. Lillian was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls. She leaves her husband Thomas, her daughter Patricia Hendricks and her husband Glenn of Eagle Bridge, N.Y., a sister Patricia Maget of Hawley, Penn., a brother Arthur Rogers of Middle Village, N.Y., four granddaughters Christina Sesera, Kerry Denue, Lindsey and Emilyann Hendricks. Lillain also leaves six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three brothers Richard, Patrick and John Rogers. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday April 12, at 9:30 a.m. form the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will follow the mass at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the MAHAR FUNERAL HOME, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls on Friday April 11, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maryknoll Sisters in Memory of Lillian Byrnes through the funeral home.
