Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Lodia M. LaCroix were held from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, where the Mass of resurrection was offered by the Rev. Vincent Coppola, c.s.c., associate pastor.

Organist was Donald McMahon and soloist was Katie Beck. Hymns offered during the service included “Ave Maria,” “Song of Farewell,” “On Eagles Wings,” “You Are Mine” and “You Have Come To the Seashore.”

The funeral pall was placed by Miss LaCroix’s niece, Patricia Dwyer who, together with her husband Greg and sister Linda Maffia, presented the offertory gifts. The scriptural readings were offered by Neva Hebert and Peggy Taber. Urn bearer was Greg Dwyer.

Serving as acolytes were Francis Sausville and Edward Molloy.

A prayer service at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home preceded the funeral mass.

Burial took place in the family lot at Park Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Coppola offering the committal prayers.

Following the service a reception for friends and relatives was held at the home of Patricia and Greg Dwyer.

Miss LaCroix, a resident of Union Street, died Nov. 22, 2005, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
