Lodovico R. Ferrarin 1914-2009 MANCHESTER Lodovico R. Ferrarin, 94 of Manchester, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. He was born in Frankfurt, Germany on July 16, 1914, the son of Guilio and Santina Ferrarin. He was married to Bianca Ferrarin. Lodovico was a terrazzo worker for many years. He began his work in Italy and continued terrazzo work in New Jersey after coming to the United States with his wife and first son in 1947. He also did mosaic work; he did the Stations of the Cross in Mosaic in St. Andrews Church in Sequals, Italy as well as the fountain in the middle of the town square in Sequals. He was also an accomplished artist. He enjoyed Bocce Ball and was a member of the Lawrenceville, N.J. Bocce Ball Club. He leaves his wife, Bianca, of Manchester; two sons and daughters-in-law, Renato and Catherine Ferrarin of East Brunswick, N.J. and Raymond and Marie Ferrarin of Manchester; a granddaughter and her husband, Sandra and William Laurie of Windsor, N.J. and a sister, Gioconda Ferrarin, of Manchester. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Pauls Catholic Church in Manchester. Burial will be in Factory Point Cemetery in the spring. There will be no calling hours.
