Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- A service to celebrate the life of Louise E. Piper was celebrated on Saturday afternoon at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home.

Officiating was the Rev. Mary Lee-Clark, pastor of the Second Congregational Church. The Rev. Lee-Clark reflected upon Mrs. Piper’s enjoyment of the family camp in Peru, her friends and church family. The congregation joined in reciting The Lord’s Prayer and Psalm 23. Hymns of reflection for the service included “Amazing Grace,” “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Have Thy Own Way Lord.”

Following anatomical studies at Albany Medical College, her cremated remains will be buried in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Piper, 94, a resident of Gage Street, died April 24, 2005, at Crescent Manor Care Centers.

Arrangements were under the care of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home.
