Lucille Page 1919 - 2008 BENNINGTON Lucille Page, 89, a longtime resident of Merson Street died Thursday at her home, following a brief illness. Born in Rutland on Feb. 18, 1919, daughter of Ernest and Natalie Gosselin Javery, Mrs. Page was a graduate of St. Rose College in Albany, N.Y. In the late 1950's, she took over and operated her mother's and father's business, Javery Memorials of Bennington until her retirement in 1995. She loved to swim; until her death, you could find her at the YMCA just about every day. She also loved to travel and was still very active in a bridge club. She was predeceased by her husband, Alan H.Page of Bennington, and by a grandson, Matthew Alan Goike of O'Brien, Fla. She leaves a daughter, Aileen Page Goike of O'Brien Fla.; a son David Page of Florida; two grandchildren Aimee and Donny, and four great-grandchildren, Chloe, Caitlin, Cayla and Braden, all of Florida. FUNERAL NOTICE: At the request of Mrs. Page, there will be no calling hours at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home.
