WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- A liturgy of Christian burial for Mabel “Tootie” (Godfrey) Maino, 83, of Nutmeg Lane, Williamstown, who died Jan. 17, 2005, at the North Adams Regional Hospital was celebrated Friday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Williamstown, with the Rev. Joseph Devlin, SJ, parochial vicar of St. Patrick and Raphael Parish, Williamstown, as the celebrant. The acolyte was Ovila St. Pierre Jr. The ministers of the word were Lori Congdon, granddaughter, and Pamela Taylor-Paris, granddaughter.

The prayers of the faithful were delivered by Kelly Regis, granddaughter. The offertory gift bearers were Colby Masse, Cara Hebert, Taylor Congdon, Nicole Paris and Candice Hebert, all great-grandchildren. Words of love and reflections written by Mrs. Maino’s three children, Linda Sweeney, Jean Taylor and David Maino, were delivered by Anthony Sweeney, grandson.

The organist was Diane Maynard and the soloist was Maureen Moore, grandniece.
