Madeline M. Frazier
1912 - 2010 BENNINGTON, VT Madeline M. Frazier, 97, widow of Francis L. Frazier, a former resident of Pownal Road in Bennington, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at the Centers For Living and Rehabilitation following a brief illness.
She was born in Bennington May 20, 1912, daughter of Freeman and Julia Lever Cook. Madeline received her education in Bennington and was a graduate of Bennington High School.
She was first married to William Kosche. After the death of Mr. Kosche, she married Francis L. Frazier on Oct. 10, 1970. Mr. Frazier died April 8, 1990.
In earlier years, Madeline had been employed at several area mills and for many years sold Avon products. She enjoyed traveling and spending time at the family camp in East Wallingford. Most recently, she enjoyed soap operas.
She leaves her daughter-in- law, Linda J. Kosche of Grand Isle; A stepson, Michael Frazier of Bennington; her grandchildren, Brenda, Lisa, Carrie, William, Brian and Richard; three step-grandchildren, Frank Jr., Katie and Russell, and many great-grandchildren; her good friends, Gary and Kitty Lewis of Bennington.
She was pre-deceased by her son, Dwayne Kosche, a stepson, Frank Frazier, and a brother, Leon Cook.
FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held from the MAHAR AND SON FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at noon.
The burial will take place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery.
