Margaret E. Falconer 1919 - 2012 BENNINGTON, VT Margaret E. Falconer, 92, formerly of Tinkham West in Bennington, passed away Thursday evening, Feb. 16, 2012, at The Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington. Margaret was born in Green Farm, Conn., on July 8, 1919, daughter of Neil and Helen (Smith) Duffy. She attended schools in Westport, Conn., and graduated from Staples High School in Westport. Margaret worked for C.B. Dolge in Saugatuck, Conn., for a short time before taking care of her home and her family. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, reading, especially autobiographies, and playing bingo. She enjoyed a variety of music, watching baseball, loved flowers and in her earlier years she could always be found puttering in her flower garden. She is survived by her niece and primary caregiver for many years, Mary Jostrand of Woodford, VT, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Colin Falconer, whom she married in Connecticut in July 1947. Mr. Falconer passed away Dec. 7, 2006. She was also predeceased by her son, Colin Jr. FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside funeral services for Margaret will be held Wednesday morning, Feb. 22, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the family lot in Willow Brook Cemetery in Westport.
