Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- A Mass of resurrection was held for Margaret M. “Peg” Moore on Monday morning, Oct. 31, 2005, at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church with the Rev. Vincent Coppola, csc, associate pastor, officiating.

Assisting as alter servers were John Reed, Gerald Amadon, Francis Sauseville and Leonard Anzivino. Donald McMahon played the organ and Peg’s son, James, sang the hymns “Shepherd Me O Lord,” “O Lord I Am Not Worthy” and “Joyful, Joyful.” “Ave Maria” was sung by Mardi Sargent.

The Old Testament scripture was read by Mrs. Moore’s son Joseph and the New Testament scripture was read by her son Matthew.

The Eucharistic gifts were presented at the altar by four grandchildren: Lauren, Lyndsey, Joseph and Jonathan Moore

Attending the Mass were members of the St. Anne’s Society and they included Mrs. Theresa Long, Mrs. Mary Brochu, Mrs. Marie Ray, Mrs. Estelle Hoth, Mrs. Alda Cole and Mrs. Shirley Barnhart.

Tributes and remembrances were offered by her granddaughter Jennifer Moore, and her sons Matthew and Thomas Moore.

Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.

Mrs. Margaret M. “Peg” Moore, a resident of the Village at Fillmore Pond in Bennington, died on Thursday, Oct. 27, at her home following a brief illness.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington
