Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- A memorial Mass was held for Mrs. Margaret Partridge on Monday morning, April 3, 2006, at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church with the Rev. Vincent Coppola, associate pastor, officiating. Assisting at the Mass were Joseph Anton, Francis Sausville, Barth Vander Els and Edward Malloy.

The pall was placed on Mrs. Partridge’s urn by her niece, Susan Curran. Her nephew, Phillip Kelly, was the pallbearer.

Organist for the Mass was Donald McMahon and the soloist was Monica Murray. The selected music for the Mass included “Amazing Grace,” “On Eagles’ Wings,” “Supper of the Lord” and “Song of Farewell.”

The Old Testament was read by her nephew, Philip Kelly, and the New Testament was read by her niece, Susan Curran, who also offered Margaret’s eulogy.

The Eucharistic gifts were brought to the altar by Philip and Edward Curran.

Honorary pallbearers for the Mass representing the St. Anne Society were Doris Bourgeois, Theresa Boutin, Mary Lou Cox, Rose Nichols, Jane Pinsonneault and Rita Pinsonneault. The Catholic Daughters of America were represented by Louise Gauthier, Mary Francis Murphy, Kathleen Murphy, Kay Allen, Rita McCann and Anna Becker.

Interment followed in the family lot in White Chapel where the Rev. Coppola offered the prayers of committal.

Mrs. Margaret M. Partridge, 87, a longtime resident of Jewett Drive, died on Tuesday evening, March 28, 2006, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation.

Arrangements were under the care of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
