Margo Berkman, of Atlanta, GA, died peacefully January 3rd, 2018. She was the daughter of Bernard and Norma (Margolin) Fienberg of Kingsport, TN.

After marrying Dr. Steven Berkman, they moved to Brooklyn, New York and then settled in Closter, New Jersey, where they lived for the next twenty-six years. She was active in her son Scott's elementary school, serving as a class mother and teacher's assistant.

Before Scott's birth, Margo worked as a claims adjuster for Reliance Insurance in New York City, specializing in contested automobile insurance claims. She was later promoted to manager of her department, the first female appointed to this responsibility. After relocating to Marietta, Georgia in 2003, Margo became a claims adjuster for Assurant. She retired in 2015.
