Marion H. Brown
1926 - 2010 HOOSICK FALLS, NY Marion H. Fish Brown, 83, of Mapletown Road died peacefully on Thursday morning at her granddaughter's home under the care of Community Hospice of Rensselaer County.
Born in Moreau on Nov. 7, Lonson and Jennie Fish. She was the loving wife of Henry J. Brown, who died in February of 1986. They were married on August 11, 1947, in Hudson Falls. She attended schools in Argyle and moved to Walloomsac over 50 years ago.
Marion was employed by both Polygraphic and Jard Co. in Bennington, retiring in 1987. Her greatest love was for her children and grandchildren.
She leaves her children, Walter H. "Punk" Brown of Cambridge, Henry E. "Bill" Brown of Bennington, Dorothy E. "Dot" Smith, wife of the late Arthur Smith, of Cambridge, Stacia B. (Raymond) Coon of Eagle Bridge, William A. "Boo-Boo" (Diane) Brown of Bennington, Vt., Margaret B. Trottier, wife of the late Keith Trottier, of Hoosick Falls; siblings, Harold Fish of Greenwich, Arthur Fish of Gansevoort, Frederick D. Fish of Durkeetown, Walter Fish of Greenwich, her granddaughter and caregiver Tina L. (Keith) Thompson with whom she resided, 31 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Ada Reynolds, brothers Edward and Lonson Fish, a step-sister, Ada Simmons, and a step-brother, William Simmons.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 31 at 11 a.m. in the Community Alliance Church, 484 Hill Road, Hoosick Falls, NY, where the Rev. Jonathan Youngman will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the ROBSON-REINFURT FUNERAL HOME, 72 Main Street Hoosick Falls, NY, on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m.
