Marion C. Boutin Obituary
Marion C. Boutin, age 89, a resident of Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center, and former longtime resident of Shaftsbury died on Saturday, December 3, 2016.

She was born in Bennington on December 29, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Marion (Crawford) Crawford. She received her education in Bennington.

She married Emile Boutin on July 3, 1948 at St. Francis de Sales Church, He died on April 1, 2002.

In earlier years, Mrs. Boutin was employed in various textile mills in Bennington. At the time of her retirement, she was employed at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Survivors includes daughter, Ann (Mark) Flavin of Hoosick Falls, NY and three grandsons: Jeffrey A. Hunt, II (Keri Murath), Christopher M. Hunt (Jami McMartin Hunt) and Nicholas E. Hunt (Emily Miller).

She leaves two sisters; Susan Bull of Bennington, Vermont and Sally King of Cambridge, NY, two brothers: John Crawford of Bennington, VT, Walter Crawford of Levi, ID, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. One great granddaughter Reagan A. Hunt.

She is predeceased by one son Mark Boutin, five brothers; Frank Crawford, Michael Crawford,

Fred Crawford, Harvey Crawford and Christie Crawford, one sister: Joanna Reed.

A Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Church in North Bennington at 2:00PM

Interment will follow in the Center Shaftsbury Cemetery. Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Church on Thursday from 1:00PM until the time of the mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church or to HAYC-3, in Hoosick Falls, NY at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
