Marion T. Goodhue Obituary
Marion T. Goodhue, 87, wife of Stanley A. Goodhue, a former resident of Bennington, VT and more recently of The Villages, Florida died Saturday July 22, 2017 at her residence in Florida following a long illness.

She was born in Woodford, VT March 19, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Lila (Betit) Caron. She received her education in Bennington.

Marion married John Cross who died in 1973 and later married Robert Kenyon who died in 1991. Mr. and Mrs. Goodhue were married in May of 1996.

In earlier years Marion was employed at the Bijur Lubricating Corporation for thirty-five years until she retired in 1991.

Mrs. Goodhue was a former member of the American Legion Post 90 Auxiliary and a former member of the 8 & 40 Club. She enjoyed ceramics and traveling.

Survivors include her husband Stanley A. Goodhue of The Villages, Florida; three daughters, Debora Kinney and her husband Patrick of Bennington, Wanda Robbins of North Port, Florida, and Robin Prebble and her husband Sherman of Shaftsbury; six grandchildren, one step-daughter, Debra Chandler of Shushan, NY; four step-sons, Stephen Goodhue of Bennington, Kevin Goodhue of Hacketstown, N.J., Timothy Goodhue of Wesley Chapel, Florida. and Gregg Goodhue of Middletown, CT; seventeen step-grandchildren; two sisters, Amelia Gallant of White Creek, NY and Kathleen Watts of Greenwich, NY. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Goodhue was pre-deceased by two brothers, Albert and Edward Caron and a sister Vivian Knapp.

SERVICES: The funeral will be held from the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday July 28, at 1:30 p.m. with a prayer and then from Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in North Bennington at 2:00 pm. where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered.

The burial will take place in the family lot at Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday July 28, from 12:00 am to 1:30 p.m.
