Marjorie DeLuca

1929-2010 HOOSICK FALLS, NY Marjorie J. Cranston Bradley DeLuca, 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2010, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Bennington, Vt., on Jan. 6, 1929, daughter of the late Roy and Bertha Cranston, she was raised and educated in Bennington. She was a graduate of the Benn High School and in her early years, worked as a waitress in Bennington before relocating to Hoosick Falls in the 1950s with her late husband of 25 years, William Bradley, where they raised their family. She enjoyed a career in food service at the the Hoosick Falls Central High School where she served as Head Cook.

Her talent for cooking was enjoyed by many and people looked forward to being at events where Marge's dishes were to be served. She was a wonderful loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, and will be truly missed

She leaves her husband of 33 years, Jerry DeLuca; her devoted children, Stephen (Mary )Bradley of Hoosick Falls, Michael (Darlene) Bradley of Bennington, Vt., Donald (Brenda) DeLuca of Guilderland, and Diane (Bill) Miller of Austin, Texas; chertished grandchildren, Kim, Stephany, WIlliam, Nicole, Michael, Emily, DJ, Justin, Sarah, Brian, Jamie and Kristin; and six treasured great-grandchildren.

In addition to her first husband, Marge was predeceased by her brother, Donald Cranston.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, Main St., Hoosick Falls, with interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends are invited and may call at ROBSON-REINFURT FUNERAL HOME, 72 Main Street, from 10-11 a.m.

Memorial contrinbutions would be appreciated by the family to the EC Fund, 48 Center St., Hoosick Falls or The Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad c/o the funeral home.
