In 1945, she married Chester Rech. They lived in Queens Village, New York until 1976, when they moved to Wilmington, Vermont. They were married 54 years at the time of his death in 1999. Martha enjoyed her home, and in later years, she enjoyed watching the Red Sox. Martha attended the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Bennington. She is survived by her daughter Joan Rech of Wilmington, Vermont, her twin sister Edna Richards of Woodhaven, N.Y., her nieces, Joyce Richards of Woodhaven, N.Y., and Ginny Dupree of Huntington Station, N.Y., and seven grand nieces and nephews.
