BENNINGTON -- Mary Dollie Flanders, 74, a resident of Grove Street, died Friday morning, June 11, 2004 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Born in Bennington on Jan. 31, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Buck) Reginbald. Growing up in Bennington she attended local schools and was a graduate of the former Bennington High School. Mrs. Flanders had worked at the former Tansitor Electronics and had owned and operated a hair salon at her home on Grove Street. She had been a former member of the Second Congregational Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, she loved collecting dolls and the company of her little dog Babe. She leaves her children David Flanders, Daniel Flanders and Darlene Mary Davis, all of Bennington; a brother, Frank Baker of Bennington; her step-father Horace Baker, who was also her personal care provider; as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Mrs. Flanders’ request services will be private and held at the convenience of the family; interment will take place in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery in Arlington.
