Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Mary W. Tobin were held from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church Monday, October 27, 2003 with Rev. Robert Lozinski, c.s.c. , pastor, officiating.

The organist was Donald McMahon and soloist was Monica Murray. Hymns offered during the service included “Amazing Grace,” “Be Not Afraid,” “On Eagle’s Wings” and “Just a Closer Walk.” The scriptural readings were offered by McKenzie Saunders, who also presented the offertory gifts along with her sister, Korinne Saunders. Words of remembrance were given by Carol Morin. Acolytes were Leonard Anzivino, Gerald Amadon, Charles Gould and Bernard Bourgeois.

A prayer service at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home preceded the funeral mass.

Bearers were Frank Sanders, Patrick Morse, Martin Kerr and Paul LaFountain.

Sunday afternoon Father Lozinski offered the Wake Service at the funeral home and burial took place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery with Father Lozinski offering the committal prayers.

Mrs. Tobin, widow of Robert C. Tobin, a resident of Cross Street died Oct. 22, 2003 at her daughters home in Pownal following a long illness.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home.
