HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. -- MaryJane E. Trimble Harrington, 75, a lifelong resident of Hoosick Falls, died on Friday, March 12, 2004, after a long illness and surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Hoosick Falls on Feb. 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Mary E. Brilon Trimble. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas E. Harrington Sr., who died on April 30, 2003. There were married in the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls on Jan. 9, 1954.

Mrs. Harrington attended Hoosick Falls schools and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church. She worked at the Saxon Dress Shop in Hoosick Falls for many years before raising her family. She worked at the Barclay Home Products in both Hoosick Falls and Cohoes for 10 years until retiring in January 1985 due to illness. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Survivors include her three children, Thomas E. Harrington Jr., Judi Harrington and Mary Dianne Harrington; a sister, Catherine M. Trimble; two grandchildren, Thomas John Harrington and Lorianne Elizabeth Harrington, all of Hoosick Falls; two sisters-in-law, Mary Harrington of Buskirk and Thelma Harrington of White Creek; a special lifelong friend Marilyn Leeseman; along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Baby Harrington in 1968.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17 at 10:15 a.m. from the Robson-Reinfurt Funeral Home, 72 Main St., Hoosick Falls and at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, Main Street, Hoosick Falls, where the Rev. Joseph Manerowski and the Rev. Michael DeMasi will con-celebrate a liturgy of Christian death and burial. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad or St. Mary’s Academy in loving memory of MaryJane E. Harrington.
