Obituary Condolences

WILMINGTON --The Wilmington Kingdom Hall was overflowing with friends and family on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 4, 2006, for the funeral service of Micah J. Dupuis.

Presiding for the service was reader Jonathan Winn, who was a friend of Micah’s and touched upon his many qualities including his faith, family, work ethic and love of snowmobiling and trucks. The congregation joined in singing “All Things Made New.” The closing prayer was offered by Thomas Calkins. Burial with prayers followed in the Dupuis family lot in Riverview Cemetery with Mr. Winn and Micah’s cousin, Jonathan Hilchey, offering the prayers. Serving as bearers were Micah’s brothers, Aaron and Sean Dupuis, and Michael Tine, Alan Ashcraft, James Duke, Joel Dupuis, Peter Wimmelman and Trapper Wimmelman.

Among the several hundred attending the services and calling hours were many area timber industry professionals, Wilmington and Whitingham school students and staff, members of Northeast Truck Pullers Association and church family.

Micah James Dupuis, 19, a resident of Wimmelman Road, died on Dec. 31, 2005, in Brookline from injuries sustained in a logging accident.

Arrangements were under the care of the Covey & Allen Funeral Home.
