MIDDLEBURY -- Mrs. Monica Anne Brown, 59, passed away Nov. 22, 2003. She was born in Middlebury on Feb. 18, 1944 to Leo Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Costello. She had been the owner and operator of the Helen Fisk Food Shop in Manchester. Monica had also worked for 16 years as the field office Manager for Pizzagali Construction Co., in sites in the East Coast area as well as in Arizona. After leaving Pizzagali Construction Co., Monica and her husband Keith lived for two years in Ft. Collins, Colo. They were two very important and enriching years spent with family. After having been diagnosed with cancer, the couple moved to Cary to be close to loving family members. Monica was a very compassionate and loving woman. One who enriched the lives of all whom she met.

Monica Brown is survived by her husband Keith E. Brown of Cary, N.C.; son David Quesnel and his wife Anneli in San Diego, Calif.; daughter Sheri Quesnel and her husband Richard Markey and their two children Ethan and Ellis all of Ft. Collins, Colo.; son Mark Quesnel and his wife Monica of Tucson, Ariz.; Raymond Quesnel of Manchester; step-daughter Shelly Perry and her husband Jason and their children Bailey and Zachary all of Lawton, Okla.; sister Mary Chapman and her husband Ernest and their son Patrick of Cary, N.C.; brother Jim Costello of Middlebury; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Leo T., John P., and Dalton F. Costello.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26 with a rosary to be recited at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, Cary, N.C. A memorial service to celebrate Monica’s life will be held in Middlebury at a future date to be announced. Arrangements by Brown-Wynne Funeral Home 200 SE Maynard Rd., Cary, NC 467-8108.
