Obituary Condolences

WEAVER, Ala. -- Funeral services for Nina Evelyn Morrison, 78, of Weaver, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home, with the Rev. Keith Merritt officiating. Entombment will follow in the Anniston Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Morrison; seven children and their spouses, Jack E. and Lorraine Morrison of Weaver, Ricky L. and Millie Morrison of Oxford, Lynne E. and Steve Bishop of Pell City, Dale R. and Joni Morrison of Weaver, Neal W. and Darlene Morrison of Alexandria, Terry B. Morrison of Cantonment, Fla., and Mark A. and Sarah Morrison of Birmingham; five sisters, Shirley Brown, Beverly Schultz, Sandra Watson, all of Bennington, Vt., Patricia Stuber of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Priscilla Stuber of Stony Point, N.Y.; three brothers, Robert R. Watson, of Woodbridge, Va., Lawrence Watson of Monroe, N.Y., and Phillip Watson, of Bennington; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mark Mitchell, Jamie Lucas, Jeremy Bishop, Joshua Morrison, Derek Morrison and Joe Townsend.

Mrs. Morrison was a native of Bennington. She was a member of the Parkwood Baptist Church, Eufaula, Ala., and was a great supporter of the Weaver High School athletics and band programs. She was a loving, supportive wife for 54 years, who raised seven children and kept many children in the community for other working mothers. She was a wonderful grandmother, mother-in-law, great-grandmother, friend, sister and daughter, and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
