BENNINGTON -- Nina E. Flanders, 55, a resident of Willows Mobil Home Park in Bennington died Friday, June 1, 2007, at her residence following a long illness.

She was born in Bennington, Feb. 23, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Fannie (Rugg) Flanders.

Nina received her education in North Bennington and was a 1971 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School.

Nina had been employed as a nurses’ aid in various nursing homes and private homes. Most recently, Nina was employed at Price Chopper in Bennington.

Survivors include a brother, Robert Flanders of Bennington, several cousins and a very close friend, Jane Hanks, of North Bennington.

The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Penny Rich Smith, Pastor of the North Bennington Congregational Church officiating.

At the request of Nina there will be no calling hours.

The burial will take place in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery in Bennington.
