Olive W. Hall 1919 - 2008 Lebanon, NH Olive W. Hall, 89, died on Sunday, Nov. 9, at Genesis Eldercare. She was born on Feb. 26 1919, in Bradford, Vt., a daughter of Frank C. and Anna Lunnie Worthen. She attended Bradford schools and graduated from Bradford Academy in 1937 and Rockingham Hospital, Bellows Falls, Vt., nursing program in 1941. On June 10, 1942, she was married to George E. Hall of Manchester, N.H. In 1946, after Mr. Hall's military service, they moved to Wilder, Vt., where she lived for the last 62 years. Mrs. Hall joined the staff at the Dartmouth College Dick's House Infirmary, retiring in January 1982. She was active in the Wilder Federated Church and the Greater Hartford United Church of Christ, as well as women's fellowship, church school and the flower committee chair for many years at both churches. She enjoyed knitting and sewing and traveling with her husband. She also loved to talk to her many friends on the phone and made weekly visits with the shut-ins. She was predeceased by her husband in 1993; a brother, Robert Spencer, in 2008; and three sisters. She leaves two sons, G. Kenneth Hall of Canaan, N.H., and David W. Hall of Pownal, Vt.; three grandsons; Kenneth A. Hall of Williamstown, Vt., Matthew G. Hall and wife Jill of Sunnyvale, Calif., Mark G. Hall of Burlington, Vt, great-granddaughter Sydney of West Va.; and one sister Joyce Davis of Washburn, Maine. FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a. m. at Greater Hartford Church of Christ, with burial following in Christian Street Cemetery in Wilder. Memorial donations may be made to Greater Hartford United Church of Christ, P. O. Box 265, Hartford Vt. 05047; or the charity of one's choice.
