GRAFTON, N.Y. -- Pamela Ann Walker-Quidgeon, 43, of Route 2 died on Saturday at Samaritan Hospital after being stricken at her home.

Born in Bennington, Vt., on Oct. 27, 1962, she was the daughter of Shirley H. Leonard Carroll of Petersburgh and the late David S. Walker. She was also predeceased by her stepfather, William Carroll. A 1981 graduate of Berlin Central High School, she was employed for the past 25 years by the New York Department of State Division of Corporations. She was a member of CSEA Local 1000 and enjoyed snowmobiling. Her true love was that of family and friends, along with her dog, Gretchen.

Survivors include her mother, Shirley; her children, Casaundra Quidgeon of Troy, William T. Quidgeon of Uncasville, Conn., and Katlyn A. Quidgeon of Grafton; her companion, Bill Irish of Averill Park; her siblings, Katherine Woodward and Maureen Coon, both of Pownal, Vt., James Walker of Morgan City, La., Michael Walker, Kelley Greene and Colleen Manchester, all of Petersburgh; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home, 66 Armsby Road, Petersburgh, with burial to follow in the Berlin Community Cemetery. Following the burial, a celebration of Pam’s life will be held at the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Hall on Route 2.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. for visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grafton Rescue Squad.
