Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Patricia A. Cone were held from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial was offered by the Rev. Vincent Coppola, c.s.c., associate pastor.

Organist was Donald McMahon and soloist was Monica Murray. Hymns offered during the funeral service were “Here I Am Lord,” “Ave Maria,” “I Am The Bread of Life,” “Let There Be Peace On Earth” and “On Eagles Wings.”

The pall that draped Pat’s casket during the funeral mass was placed by her sister and brother-in-law, James and Fran Anglin. A wooden cross was placed on the pall by a sister, Helen Ahearn. The scriptural readings were offered by a niece and nephew, Amy Anglin and John Ahearn. The offertory gifts were presented by Pat’s two sisters, Helen and Fran. Words of remembrance were given by a nephew, Matthew Anglin.

Bearers were four nephews, John and Kevin Ahearn and Michael and Daniel Anglin. A prayer service at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home preceded the funeral mass.

Burial took place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery with Father Coppola offering the committal prayers.

Mrs. Cone, a resident of Shrewsbury, Mass., died Oct. 20, 2004 in Worcester, Mass.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
