Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral serices for Patricia Ann Cornell were held from Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Church on Friday, May 4, 2007, where the Mass of Resurrection was offered by the Rev. Vincent Coppola, associate pastor.

A prayer service at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home preceded the Mass.

The organist was Donald McMahon and the soloist was Doris Alderman. Musical selections offered during the Mass were “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art,” “On Eagles Wings” and “Ave Maria.”

The casket pall was placed on Patricia’s casket by her parents, Ray and Pat Farnum, her sister, Karen Tienken, and her brother, Steven Farnum. A wooden cross was then placed on the casket by Patricia’s son Jason Bevis. The scriptural readings were offered by Chris Farnum and Allison Adams. The offertory gifts were presented by Pat’s children, Jason Bevis and Mindy Dame, and her grandson, Dawson Bevis. A eulogy was offered by William Main.

Serving as pallbearers were Derrick Tienken, Joseph Tienken, Chris Farnum, Steve Farnum and Brian and Chris Main.

The burial took place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery with Father Coppola offering the committal prayers.

A reception followed at the home of Patricia’s parents, Ray and Pat Farnum.

Patricia Ann Cornell, 52, a resident of Route 9, Woodford, died unexpectedly Monday April 30, 2007, at her residence.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
