Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Patricia “Sue” Brown, 53, a resident of Main Street, died on Wednesday morning, July 19, 2006, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington following a brief illness.

She was born in Bennington on Oct. 27, 1952, and was the daughter of the late Richard F. and Helen (Gates) Morse. Sue received her education in local schools. She was a homemaker all of her life. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren. Sue was an avid bingo player, spending many nights at the Charity House and Bingo for AIDS on Main Street.

Sue is survived by her son, William Reynolds Jr. of Bennington; and her two daughters, Tracy Ann Coon and Rebecca Marie Winchell, both of Bennington.

She has three brothers, including her twin, Patrick Lew Morse, and Donald Morse, both of Bennington, and Phillip Morse of Alabama; five sisters, Margaret Teator of Chatham, N.Y., Ava Maxham and Geraldine Wideawake, both of Bennington, Rita Payne of Conway, S.C., and Wendy Brown of Shaftsbury. She has nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Troyha Rose Reynolds of Bennington. She leaves her life companion, Fred McDonald of Bennington, and two former husbands, William Reynolds Sr. and Harry Brown. Sue also has several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Sue is predeceased by two brothers, Edward Morse and Willard Morse, and two sisters, Kathleen Bourn and Donna Morse.

Funeral services for Sue will be held on Friday, July 21, at 12 p.m. at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St. in Bennington with the Rev. Michael DeMasi officiating.

Interment will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
