WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. -- Patricia L. (Tripp) Zukowsky, 53, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of Anthony J. Zukowsky, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mass.

She was born Jan. 6, 1951, in Bennington, Vt., the daughter of Martha (Gasper) Tripp and the late Earl Tripp. She lived in Bennington before moving to Windsor Locks 26 years ago.

Patricia was an animal lover, she loved to travel and she was a regular blood donor with the American Red Cross. She had donated more than 10 gallons of blood in her lifetime. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her husband Anthony and her mother Martha, she is survived by her daughter Tania Powers and her husband Dean of Enfield; a brother, Eugene Tripp and his wife Leona of Newport, R.I.; a sister, Roseanne Beauchamp and her husband Richard of Richmond, Mass.; two grandchildren, Opal Louann and Jarred Joseph; and many nieces and nephews, and also her beloved pet cat “Pete.”

Family and friends may gather Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 9 a.m. at the Nicholson and Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St., Suffield, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 42 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Suffield. Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nicholson and Carmon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111 or the American Red Cross, Greater Hartford Chapter, 209 Farmington Ave., Farmington, CT 06034.
