Patricia N. Perrotta

1925-2012 BENNINGTON Patricia N. Perrotta, age 87, a resident of Merson Street in Bennington, died on Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington.

She was born in Bennington on March 17, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Leo Tracey and Gertrude (Rowley) Nash.

Patricia received her education in local schools and graduated from Bennington High School in 1942, and St. Joseph's Business College in 1944.

Mrs. Perrotta was employed at Grey and Foster, and in the law offices of Waldo Holden and Eugene Clark, prior to her marriage.

Patricia married Virginio M. Perrotta on February 14, 1953 in Bennington at St. Francis de Sales Church. Mr. Perrotta predeceased her in 2004.

She was active in the Catholic Daughters of America, the Rosary Society and the Faith Formation Program of St. Francis de Sales Parish. Mrs. Perrotta was also an active participant with her husband in the Bennington Elks Club and Bennington Club.

Mr. and Mrs. Perrotta had resided in Sarasota, Fla., from 1982 until 2004.

Mrs. Perrotta is survived by a son Christopher Perrotta, her step-son and daughter; Virginio N. Perrotta, Jr. and his wife Patricia and Joan Perrotta, all of Bennington.

She leaves her sister, Carol Nash of West Sand Lake, N.Y., and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also her grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Friends are invited to join the family for a prayer service on Friday morning, August 24, at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington at 10:30 a.m. which will be followed by the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church at 11 a.m.

Interment will take place privately in the family plot in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, August 23, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m.
