Patrick P. Piscopo III Obituary
Patrick P. Piscopo lll, of Saco, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2017. He was sixty-one years old.

Born in Bennington, Vermont to Barbara Cameron Piscopo and Patrick Peter Piscopo on October 14, 1955, he was the third of six children. Patrick attended Sacred Heart School and Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington. When he graduated he served a short stint in the Army and settled for a time in North Carolina near his older brother Peter. Over time he resided again in Vermont as well as Colorado, Florida and lastly Maine. But wherever he was he always had his guitars with him. Music was one of the great loves of his life and it brought him abundant pleasure. He often played with other musicians in pubs and taverns and also had a small business where he repaired and renovated guitars.

When he wasn't making music he liked to cook. He could take you through the perfect method of grilling a steak, talk about the qualities of a good olive oil and nobody made a better pesto. But what his friends and family will most remember about him was his dry sense of humor, his great story telling ability and his tender heart.

Patrick is survived by his sisters, Jo Ann (Victor) L'Esperance of Lake Stevens, WA and Bobbi Jo Sundstrom of Brandon, VT, his brothers, Perry Piscopo of Cleveland, OH. and Paul Piscopo of Yarmouth, ME. Also his nieces Jo Ann Sundstrom and Heather Massey Koz, his nephews, Cameron Sundstrom, Drew Piscopo and Charlie Piscopo, multiple cousins and his dear friend, Jennifer Maier.

Patrick was predeceased by his father Patrick, Jr. in 1990, his loving partner of twelve years, Mary McGowan in 2014, his mother Barbara in 2015, and his brother Peter in 2016
