Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Paul Anthony Harrington, 39, a resident of Mechanic Street, North Bennington, died suddenly Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.

Born in Bennington Oct. 18, 1964, he was the son of Karl F. and Donna (LaFlamme) Harrington. He received his education in the Bennington schools and was a 1983 graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School.

Paul married the former Martha Steck on June 9, 2000 in Shaftsbury.

In earlier years he was employed by Northwest Grocery, a family business in North Bennington. He later worked at UST and at the time of his death was employed at Wilcox Dairy in Manchester.

An avid outdoorsman, Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. He was a fan of both the Boston Red Sox and Miami Dolphins. Paul was a coach for the NorShaft Little League Yankee team and will be remembered for the great parties he hosted.

Survivors include his wife Martha Harrington of North Bennington; two step-sons, Casey and Jamie Cranston of North Bennington; his father and step-mother Karl F. and Patricia Harrington of Bennington; his mother Donna Harrington of Bennington; two sisters, Kathy Harrington of Minneapolis, Minn. and Tracy Kasulinous and her husband Anthony of Bennington; his maternal grandmother Yvonne LaFlamme of Bennington; his father and mother-in-law Gordon and Mary Steck of Shaftsbury; his brother-in-law and wife Walter and Jodi Steck of Shaftsbury; a niece and two nephews, Madelyn Kasulinous of Bennington and Joseph and Alan Steck of Shaftsbury; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gaylord Campbell officiating.

Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of the service.

Burial will take place in the family lot in St. John’s Cemetery, North Bennington.
