GLENVILLE, N.Y. -- Paul Michael Roemelt, 47, of Paradowski Road, in the presence of his loving family, went home to the Lord on Monday, April 26, 2004 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland.

Paul was born on Nov. 14, 1956 in Adams, Mass., the son of Herbert R. and Helen Roemelt. He graduated from Hoosac Valley High School in Adams and received his undergraduate degree from North Adams State College and master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire.

Paul was married on June 28, 1986 to Denise A. Sadler at Union College Chapel in Schenectady, where they started their lives together. The couple moved to Glenville in 1986.

Paul was a senior engineer at Lockheed Martin/KAPL in Niskayuna until the onset of his illness. He was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville.

Paul was family-oriented and was known to have a keen sense of humor with both family and friends. His hobbies were coin collecting and he was recognized as a “guru on the personal computer.” Paul will be missed dearly by co-workers and friends who knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife Denise A. Roemelt and their two sons, Michael and Bryan Roemelt, all of Glenville; his parents Herbert and Helen Roemelt of Adams; and in-laws Harold and Margaret Sadler of Rotterdam; a sister, Maryellen Young and her husband W. Brant Young of Bennington, Vt.

Funeral services were held from the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, East Glenville, followed by a mass of Christian burial at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment took place at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, East Glenville. Calling hours were held on Friday.
