Pauline Strom 1944 - 2009 SHAFTSBURY Pauline Strom, wife of Charles "Chuck" Strom, a resident of Myers Road, Shaftsbury, died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009 at her residence. Born in New Britain, Conn., Dec. 29, 1944, daughter of the late James and Rosemarie Carrubba Bonaiuto. She received her education in the New Britain schools and later attended Central Connecticut State College. Pauline and Chuck were married on Sept. 24, 1966 in New Britain. At the time of her death Pauline was employed as the office manager at Shaftsbury Dental Associates. She was a devout member of Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church. She loved her family, the Good Lord and working with and helping people every day. She leaves her husband, Charles Strom of Shaftsbury; three sons, Charles Strom of Bethlehem, Pa., Roland Strom of Waterbury, Vt., and Jonathan Strom of South Portland, Maine; four grandchildren, David Strom and Hunter Strom of Waterbury, Brady Strom of Bethlehem, Pa., and Lola Strom of South Portland, Maine; two sisters, Connie Lombardi of Southington, Conn., and Josephine Cronin of Lake Suzy, Fla.; three brothers, James Bonaiuto of New Britain, Michael Bonaiuto of Holliday, Fla., and Christopher Bonaiuto of Newington, Conn.; several nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by a grandson, Adam Strom of South Portland. FUNERAL NOTICE: Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the MAHAR & SON FUNERAL HOME.
