Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- A prayer service for Pauline Therrien was held on Wednesday morning, Nov. 22, 2006, at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington with the Rev. Vincent Coppola, csc, associate pastor, officiating.

Assisting at the Mass were Mr. Francis Sausville, Mr. Leonard Anzivino, Mr. Joseph Anton and Mr. Gerald McMurray.

Selected music for the mass included, “Amazing Grace,” “I Am The Bread Of Life,” “Ave Maria,” and “On Eagle’s Wings.”

Organist for the Mass was Mr. Donald McMahon and the soloist was Ms. Monica Murray.

The scriptures were read by Mr. Leonard Anzivino and Mr. Gerald McMurray.

Pallbearers for the services were her son, Mr. Howard Therrien; her grandsons, Mr. John Therrien, Mr. Michael Therrien; her brother, Mr. Raymond Smith; a son-in-law, Mr. Dana Chellis and close family friend Mr. Bobby Radcliffe.

Interment service followed in the family lot in Hinsdillville Cemetery in North Bennington where Fr. Coppola offered the prayers of committal.

The vigil service was offered on Tuesday afternoon during the visitation by the Reverend James Preskenis, csc, pastor of Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church

Mrs. Pauline Therrien, 83, a lifelong resident of Bennington died on Sunday evening, Nov. 19, 2006, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
