Pauline I. Trottier

1916-2010 NORTH ADAMS Mr. Pauline Isabella Lanoue Trottier, 94, of 140 Cliff St., North Adams, died Friday, May 28, 2010, at Williamstown Commons.

Born in North Adams on Feb. 6, 1916, daughter of Raymond and Emma Hamel Lanoue, she graduated from the former Notre Dame High School in 1934.

Pauline was primarily a homemaker. She worked in the former Hoosac Cotton Mills for a time.

She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church and was a member of its Children of Mary. She was also a bookkeeper at the church.

Pauline was an excellent cook and was well-known for her Christmas Eve parties. She enjoyed crafts.

She was the widow of Norman J. Trottier, who died May 26, 1985. They were married on Nov. 28, 1940.

She leaves nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Four sisters and two brothers are deceased including, Eva Fountain, Alice DeMarsico, Evelina Card, and Margaret DeMarsico; Raymond and Albert Lanoue.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Pauline Trottier will be Friday, June 4, 2010 at 10:15 a.m. from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 2-4 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to VNA-Hospice of North Berkshire in care of the funeral home.
