Phyllis Wells Falkenbury Obituary
Cambridge - Phyllis Wells Falkenbury, 89, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Washington Center in Argyle.

Born March 18, 1927 in Warrenton, England, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Beatrice Wells. She was educated in England and came to the United States in the early 1950's.

Phyllis worked at Reis Mill in Cambridge and then went to worked at C.B. Sports in Bennington as a seamstress for many years retiring in 1989.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Cambridge until its closing. Phyllis enjoyed cross stitching, reading and had a love for animals, especially dogs and cats.

She met her husband John Q. Falkenbury while he was stationed in England. He passed away many years ago. She was also predeceased by a brother, Albert Wells and a sister, Amy Drinkwater.

Phyllis is survived by her 3 children, Quentin J. (Maryetta) Falkenbury of West Hope, ND, Susan L. Falkenbury of Fredericksburg, VA and Anita (Jim) Bolster of Cambridge. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, John & Alicia Falkenbury, Justin & Ashley Bolster, Jennifer Wise and Sean Falkenbury as well as 9 great-grandchildren.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be at 9:30 am Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge with Rev. Kate Kotfila officiating. A reception will be held at the Cambridge United Presbyterian Church following the services. Interment will be at Woodlands Cemetery in Cambridge.
