Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral Services for Rachael Jane Lueck were held from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, where the liturgy of Christian death and burial was offered by the Rev. Vincent Coppola, c.s.c., associate pastor.

Organist was Louise Gauthier and soloist was Mildred Pierce. Hymns offered during the funeral service were “Be Not Afraid,” “All I Ask of You,” “Ave Maria,” “Panis Angelicus” and “The Strife is O’er.”

The funeral pall and cross were placed on Mrs. Lueck’s casket by her daughters, Marilynn Dearborn and Jane Ryan. The scriptural readings were offered by sons-in-law James Dearborn and Frank Ryan. The prayer of the faithful was led by Suzanne Braman. The offertory gifts were presented by Janel Badger, Jennifer Skaggs, Steve Dearborn and Marilynn Dearborn. The presentation was narrated by Mark Ryan and reflections were given by Tim Ryan. Acolytes were James Kempf, Charles Gould, Bernard Bourgeois and Leonard Anzivino.

Pall bearers were three grandsons, Steve Dearborn and Mark and Tim Ryan.

A prayer service at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home preceded the funeral Mass.

Burial took place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery, with Father Coppola offering the committal prayers.

Mrs. Lueck, widow of Elmer Lueck, died Dec. 20, 2004 at Sandy Spring, Md.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home.
