Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- A celebration of Rachel Jerman’s life was held Saturday morning, April 30, 2005, at the home of her father, Dr. Albert C. Jerman, on Deer Run Lane in Arlington. The Rev. Dr. Steven Berry of the Congregation Church in Manchester conducted the service. Rev. Berry opened with Psalm 121.

Cello music was played by Jared Shapiro. Rachel’s brother Eric offered a personal tribute and spoke of the wonderful memories he shared with his sister.

Rachel’s mother Grace offered reflections of Rachel and read a poem by Rachel, at age 14.

Many of Rachel’s family, friends and co-workers also offered personal remembrances and reflections. After the closing prayer by Rev. Berry, those in attendance sang two of Rachel’s favorite songs “You Are My Sunshine” and “Sing Your Way Home”

A time of fellowship and refreshments was held following the service. Among those in attendance were staff members and residents from the Village at Fillimore Pond.

Rachel Estelle Jerman, 41, of Rice Lane in Bennington, died April 27, 2005, at home.

Arrangements were under the care of Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, Arlington Chapel, Route 7A, Arlington.
