WEST TOPSHAM -- Ralph “Uncle Ralph” C. Bolio, 59, of West Topsham, died Sunday morning, Jan. 14, 2007, in Corinth Corners.

He was born July 18, 1947, in Randolph, the son of Saywood and Amy (Wade) Bolio. He was raised in Hancock, attended Rochester High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He had lived in Granville and moved to West Topsham in 1980. Ralph was married to Diana Beane on Sept. 12, 1998, in East Orange. He had worked for McDonald Construction in Burlington, and Duranleau Construction in Washington. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and helping his neighbors.

Survivors include his wife Diana, of West Topsham; brother, Ronald Bolio of Alabama. He was predeceased by his brother Albert Bolio.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at the East Orange Congregational Church. Calling hours will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday, at the church. Burial with full military honors will be in May at Woodlawn Cemetery in Rochester. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice, 600 Granger Road, Barre, VT 05641. Arrangements are by the Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
