Randy J. Blair Jr.

1993-2012 BENNINGTON Randy J. Blair Jr., 19, a resident of South Branch St. in Bennington died suddenly Sunday September 2, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Bennington.

He was born in Bennington, Vt., January 17, 1993. He was the son of Barbara Shepard and Randy J. Blair Sr. Randy received his education in Bennington where he attended Mount Anthony Union High School.

Since October of 2011, Randy had been employed in the Maintenace Department at WalMart.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Shepard and her fiancee Burton Snow III, sister Tiffany Blair and fiencee Matthew Gaghich, nephew Samuel Boyer all of Bennington. His father, Randy Blair Sr. stepmother Patricia Blair,. step sister, Gail P. Stickle. Three brothers, Shane J. Blair, Dakota Blair and Dustin Cole Blair all of Pownal. Paternal grandmother Linda L. Blair of Bennington and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was pre-deceased by two sisters Shanna Blair and Harley Blair and a brother Kaleb Blair. His maternal grandparents, Philip and Wilma Shepard and his paternal grandfather David Blair Sr.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held from the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Thursday September 6, 2012 at 1 p.m.

Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Thursday from 11 a.m until the time of the service.

The burial will take place in the family lot in the Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland, VT.

A celebration of Randys life will be held at the Arlington Park after services.
